Loki Season 1 just ended and boy, what a show! The events that happened in the series have paved the way forward for future Marvel movies. It’s not MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) anymore, it’s MCM (Marvel Cinematic Multiverse) now. The last episode of Marvel’s Loki aired on Wednesday and left the fans wanting for more. However, despite mentioning quotes from Nelson Mandela, Neil Armstrong, Greta Thunberg, there was also a treat Marvel sneaked in for their Indian fans. A song from Sonakshi Sinha starer Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi.

Hard to believe? Well, that really did happen. Although it wasn’t as straightforward as you want it to be, but hey, at least Marvel’s respecting their Indian fans.

Loki Episode 6 — The Bollywood Reference

When the episode starts and Marvel’s iconic logo reveal reels, we hear the music we last saw Steve and Peggy dancing to in Avengers: Endgame. This is followed by a bunch of dialogues used across all the previous Marvel movies.

The camera pans out, and we hear quotes from Greta Thunberg, Neil Armstrong, and Nelson Mandela. However, when the voices are mixed and stacked on top of each other if you listen closely, you can hear the song Swag Saha Nahi Jaye from Sonakshi Sinha starer Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi (2018). To make it more certain, the makers also mentioned the song in the end credits. Here, take a look.

The song is composed by Mudassar Aziz and is sung by Shadab Faridi, Neha Bhasin, and Sohail Sen.

Loki Episode 6 revealed the next big baddie in the Marvel Multiverse, Kang, and left the fans on a major cliffhanger. However, the series is confirmed for a second season and is expected to go on the floors next year. Tom Hiddleston and Sophia Di Martino will return in the next season of the series, too. Till then? Well, you have Shang-Chi: The Legend of The Ten Rings, Eternals, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, and a bunch of stuff on Disney+.

Excited? So are we.
